An interesting post on social media demographics. Not as detailed as I would have hoped but an interesting use of infographics and visualization to creatively demonstrate the data. It’s a bit large for this context, so I’ll include the link and you can have a full read on your own.
The interesting takeaway for me in this is the relatively balanced distribution of use – across platforms, age, socio-economics, gender and academic attainment. In terms of using social media as communications vehicle it is a baseline medium that should be a solid medium to explore.
